Lado hotel is located at the heart of Masindi town with a 10 minutes’ walk from the city center seating on plot M2 [A&B] Warner Drive Central Division Masindi Municipality

The name Lado is borrowed from the great Lado Corridor in Southern Sudan believed to be one of the strongest African settings, a community with very strong political, social and cultural attachments in the history which leaves a very rich story for the people from the West Nile region of Uganda who are believed to have originated from the same background.

Lado hotel has this very unique beauty taken from a close view of the landscaping and the site appealing hills surrounding Masindi town, the greenery on the compound which creates a very welcoming ambius. The hotel structures are set in a way that strikes a very good balance between history and the modernity making it suitable for all kinds of Visitors.

The hotel is located at the most accessible point of Masindi town and at the center of the great Bunyoro Kitara Tourism base which is very well known for Heritage, History and Cultural Tourism. The hotel is only 45 minutes drive away from Murchison falls National Park through Kijumuynubwa gate which makes it very easy for our guests sleeping at the hotel to catch up with their scheduled activities in the park.

Lado hotel is currently operating 23 complete rooms with six cottages [double occupancy] and 19 standard rooms [single occupancy]

All our rooms are self contained with running water for cold and hot showers, a wardrobe, cable TVs with more than 5 connected channels to choose from, free access to wireless internet [WI-FI] and free room service from the restaurant and bar.   

The hotel is operating two restaurants with a modern - fully stocked bar also serving both cold and hot beverages. The restaurants and the bar areas are connected to piped music and DSTV with a wide variety of channels to choose for entrainment and to catch the customer’s best sports activities

Lado hotel has a complete conference facility with a seating capacity of 100 people, a Public address system, LCD Projector and screen to cover workshops, education, training and all kinds of team building activities.

The hotel has 2 beautiful gardens ideal for all kinds of events from wedding parties, graduation and all sorts of performances, with a modern – set - kid’s play area completed with kid’s activities, games and fun packages for family and schools.
